In this unprecedented time, Samaritan Village sees the value in uniting as a community to continue their annual Bowl-A-Thon tradition and rally support to #StrikeOutTrafficking in Central Florida. Therefore, I need your help to "champion" the mission of Samaritan Village.
Why is NOW such a critical time to raise awareness and funds? Sex traffickers thrive on desperation in communities already suffering from unemployment, poverty, lack of affordable housing, and from addiction. With unemployment growing every day in Central Florida, traffickers are luring vulnerable women and youth with lies of love, security, and prosperity and capitalizing on their economic uncertainties due to COVID-19.
